The Hive mimics the structure of a real Bee Hive. In order enter you have to spiral around the entire circular structure. A magical humming sound of bees surrounds the sculpture.. I am personally not a major fan of bees, (despite being the "good type" of creepy-crawlies/endangered), therefore I found this man-made structure rather terrifying. Beijing Birds Nest is the first thing that comes to mind - is this a direct copy or just inspiration? On a sunny day the Hive takes on an entirely different form; the light shines through the layers of glass and the metallic structure to cast fantastic shadows in every direction. There is something sensational about the Hive. It's an experience I would recommend, (even if you do go just to bulk out your Instagram).
